VersaBond Professional Thin-Set Mortar 50 lb. - Grey

Polymer-modified Portland cement mortar system designed to achieve excellent adhesion on interior surfaces without the need for additional latex additives. It is utilized for bonding various tiles, including glazed and unglazed ceramic mosaic, glazed wall tile, quarry, terrazzo, cement-bodied tile, high-lug tiles, and pavers. This mortar is suitable for application on properly prepared interior surfaces like exterior-grade plywood and several resilient flooring options.

Additionally, it enhances bond strength when used on traditional thin-set mortar substrates such as concrete, concrete block, wonderboard, gypsum drywall, and existing ceramic tile. Intended for interior use only. It is not recommended for application over cushion resilient flooring, hardwood or parquet flooring, particle board, wafer board, masonite, metal, or plastic. The coverage depends on the substrate, tile, and notched trowel size, with an average coverage of around 2 sq. ft. per pound. It is essential to allow 24 to 72 hours for curing before grouting, and cleanup should be done promptly using water after use.
